Stadsmusikanterne fra Bremen

The town musicians of Bremen

- Based on the story by the Brothers Grimm

About the performance

A group of animals, consisting of a donkey, two dogs, a cat, a rooster and a rat, are tired of the way their masters treat them and therefore they each decide to run away. They all meet on the road and decide to go to Bremen to become musicians. But their journey will not be easy. Will they succeed? Follow them in the show and find out.

Ikarus Stage Arts combines music and theater, with elements of “commedia dell’arte” and clowning, to tell the story of this strange group of animal musicians. They will bring the audience on a musically engaging journey that jumps from music genres such as jazz and rumba to their own original pieces of music and traditional Danish songs.

The audience will have the chance to engage in a joyful, energetic and interactive performance, suitable for all ages.
