The sandbox on a rainy day

Musical for 3-7 year olds about friendship in a polluted sea

What does a seed on an open sea do? Why is the turtle caught in a plastic? Do you want to meet Mother Earth on a rescue expedition? A girl is alone, playing in the rain. She is guided by the Mother Earth and the rainbow that sees everything. Along the way, the sandbox becomes an aquarium where fish explains the rainbow phenomena, where water hose splashes and crab plays the piano. Would you like to join them and help to save the turtle caught in a plastic?

The sandbox on a rainy day is an original story with songs, puppetry, rhyme and pictures. The child's immersion, plays and immediate animation of objects are the basis of the performance. Production is environmental and child-friendly and all the props are recycled and collected in the sea. The performance lasts 40 minutes and you are welcome to stay after the end to talk about your impressions and meet with creators.

The performance was created by Riotous Company in Denmark as a Nordic Theater Laboratory's co-production, with thanks to Iben Nagel Rasmussen.
