South African tones with a jazz trio
Alice Carreri, Martin Schack and Regin Fuhlendorf turn on the energy and southern charm of a musical trio. In their compelling concert, the musicians interpret some of the most distinctive and outgoing jazz standards we have. They serve sizzling new interpretations of soul, jazz or Motown style and they spread warmth and happiness with the Italian and French jazz from both the romantic era and the 50s-60s.
Alice Carreri is half Italian, half French. She was born and raised in Holstebro and is now looking forward to coming back and playing for the home audience. She participated in the popular project Lulu Rouge and played with Jacob Fischer, Tivoli's Late Night Orchestra, Tue West, Tobias Trier, Rasmus Nøhr and Suspekt / Klamfyr, Mikael Wulff and Jonathan Spang.
Martin Schack is a famous virtuoso on a Hammond organ and a lecturer at the South Danish Music Conservatory.
Regin Fuhlendorf is one of the most popular and successful guitarists in Denmark. He has been taught by Jacob Fischer and John Abercrombie.
Together, these three musicians are delighted to commence their spring tour in Holstebro, where they will provide the audience with a festive evening in the Subhuset at the Slagteriet.
The concert is organized by the Subhuset and Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium in collaboration with Jazz 78, Jazzklub 93 Holstebro, Kulturdivisionen, Holstebro Musikskole and Holstebro Musikskoles Støtteforening.
Supported by Holstebro Municipality.
