A work in progress towards an intimate performance that takes a simultaneous look at the mother-daughter heritage and how fear of loss can contaminate the ability to love.

"I was not born in a place, but in a story.
We all come from a story told to us,
we are told and told ...
And so, we build on each other.

I was not born in a place, I come from this story ... "

This is a performance that traces the lives of several generations of women (mothers and daughters) of the same family. Mothers who have lost children, girls who have lost their mothers ... Women who have migrated, lived through the war, the dictatorship, fought poverty and cohabited with death ...We ask what legacy did they leave to their daughters?
