"After more than 50 years with Odin Teatret, I feel it is time for me to look back in time. Creativity is like a continuos act of giving birth and all the figures that I have given life to in the theatre, are my stage children, that I would like to encounter and to revive once more."
Else Marie Laukvik speaks about her life as an actress, and at the same time illustrating it with film fragments from the performances: Ornitofilene, Kaspariana, Ferai, My Father's House, Come! And the Day will be ours, Book of Dances, Anabasis, The Million, The Gospel According to Oxyrhincus and Memoria.
