The Poetic Solution
Homage to the writer Valerio Magrelli, written and directed by Federica Altieri
The Associazione Appercezioni returns to Denmark on the 17th and 19th May to present the new performance "The Poetic Solution", written and directed by Federica Altieri, a tribute to one of the greatest intellectuals of our time: the poet, writer, translator , literary and academic critic Valerio Magrelli.
Beginning with poetry, and through Magrelli's anthropological vision of contemporary society, an eclectic cast of artists will invite the spectators to immerse themselves into a sea of music, acting, video art, performance, installations and photography, where a new methodology will be elaborated on by the director Federica Altieri, aimed at bringing the Artist and the Public together in an innovative way.
"The poetic solution" is therefore a horizontal show with national and international artists of great depth: in addition to Valerio Magrelli, the Italian actress Maria Letizia Gorga, the German-Portuguese actress Maria Ana Bernauer, the musicians Ermanno Baron, Marcello Allulli and Francesco Diodati, from the famous Odin Teatret the interpreters Ulrik Skeel and Rina Skeel, the set designer Francesco Bankeri, the photographer Paola Favoino, the video artist Claudio Ammendola, and the IKARUS company of the Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium, the literary critic Giorgio Patrizi.
Translator Ole Meyer will also be present: the show will be based, in fact, on Magrelli's poetry translated into Danish for the first time by Meyer; a work supported by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ass. cult. Apperceptions, published by the Danish publishing house Antipyrine, edited by Ulrik Skeel and Federica Altieri, with an introduction by Giorgio Patrizi.
The first performance, on 17th May 7 pm, will be held at the Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium - Odin Teatret in Holstebro, while on 19th May, again at 7 pm, it will be held at the Italian Cultural Institute in Copenhagen, directed by Raffaello Barbieri.

The show is made possible thanks to the support of the IIC of Copenhagen, the Danish state, the Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium - Odin Teatret, the Municipality of Holstebro and the Apperceptions Association.
In June, "The Poetic Solution" will stop in Paris, at the I.I.C. directed by Diego Marani, who will translate some verses into the European language, which he created in 1996.
At the end of 2022 the show will be reworked within the European "Spore" project in collaboration with various international partners.
