Théâtre du Centaure returns to Holstebro
Once again there will be a Centaure Village with the French horse theatre in front of the Town Hall in Holstebro with a varied programme during the daytime and evening May 08 - May 21, 2019.
The French horse theatre, or rather centaure theatre, Théâtre du Centaure, is invited by Odin Teatret and Holstebro Municipality again this year to live for ten days at Rådhustorvet in Holstebro. They will arrive on the 8th of May and leave on the 22nd of May and will bring four of their impressive horses, Sombre, Gaya, Akira and Tao.
Every day there will be public rehearsals and events in the space on the Church Square. At the same time, workshops will take place at Odin Teatret with international groups and at several of the town's schools and they will participate in daily programme at the Centaure Village.
On May 15 at 10.00 you can enjoy an event at Holstebro Library with Théâtre du Centaure, The Reading Horse.
May 16 - 20 you are invited to evening concerts in Holstebro Church, When the Centaure pray: songs and poems. This event takes place in collaboration with Holstebro Church and Church Council. In addition, an Animaglyphe, a parade with up to 70 participating horses and riders, will happen on May 21 at 18.45. The parade starts from the parking lot at Gråkjer Arena and finish at Kælkebakken beneath the cemetery.
