KompaniTO is a Norwegian circus and dance company founded in 2014 by Tamar Ohana Goksøyr and Mari Dahl Stoknes. In the crossover between circus, dance, physical theatre, music and text, we work towards creating stage art that is open, challenging and welcoming. 

As well as creating and performing our own performances, KompaniTO is collaborating with outstanding artists and companies. KompaniTO also organises the circus and performing arts festival MERGE NORGE - Scenekunstfestival for nysirkus.  

Tamar Ohana Goksøyr was educated at ESAC- École Supérieure des Arts du Cirque in Brussels and has a bachelor degree in circus arts (2010-2013). Before ESAC, she attended Codarts Circus Arts in Rotterdam (2008-2009) and Balthazar in Montpellier (2009-2010). In 2014 she founded KompaniTO together with Mari Dahl Stoknes. Her main discipline is aerial hoop combined and inspired by contemporary dance, physical theatre and dance acrobatic.


In addition to the work with KompaniTO, and the different projects, she also works free lance around Europe with companies such as Kompani Giraff (SE) and Compagnie Azein (FR).

Mari Dahl Stoknes is educated at LIDO - Centre des Arts du Cirque de Toulouse (2012-2014). Before LIDO she attended Cirkus Cirkörs high-school program (2009-2011) and AFUK - Academy For Untamed Creativity (2011-2012). Her main disciplines are aerial rope and hair suspension, combining circus disciplines with dance, physical theatre, music and play!

Mari also works with the Swedish/ Norvegian project Foot in face productions, and as a freelancer around Europe.
