Váli Theatre Lab is a theatre company founded in 2019 by Alice Occhiali and Valerio Peroni, based in Holstebro (Denmark), part of Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium - Odin Teatret.

Váli Theatre Lab produces performances and works with children, teenagers and professional actors. Collaborating in Holstebro and abroad with several institutions such as kindergardens, primary schools, high schools, theatre schools and care homes for elderly people.

The two founders are actors, directors and teachers. They met in 2013, while working in an international theatre company in fix-residence at Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium - Odin Teatret. In this period they took part in street performances, site-specific performances, theatre concerts. They organised  private and public theatre events, community theatre, and arranged and led theatre workshops. In 2016, they started an independent path together in Italy. Since 2016 they have collaborated with international theatre groups and institutions in Italy, Denmark, Germany, France, Poland, working as actors, organising and directing site-specific shows, theatre shows and workshops.

In 2018 they started a new collaboration with Nordisk Teaterlaboratorium - Odin Teatret and since 2019 they are based in Holstebro under the name of Váli Theatre Lab.

Activities of the group

1] PEDAGOGY (use of theatre as a pedagogical tool in different contexts):
● For children and teenagers (Workshops in Kindergardens, Primary Schools, Gymnasiums, Friskoler, Efterskoler, Højskoler)
● For students of Theatre Schools and Talent Schools in Denmark and abroad (Intensive Workshops or single lessons)
● For school teachers and pedagogues (Conferences and workshops)
● For actors and artists (Workshops)

2] CREATION OF PERFORMANCES (Production of theatre performances and theatre interventions):
● For children (short theatre performances addressed to Dagpleje, Vuggestuer and Kindergardens created for the project TEATERMØDE by NTL: "The Magic Tent", "The Magic Trunk" )
● For teenagers and adults (theatre performances for theatre spaces co-produced by NTL: "Long Nights", "Baalhaus")
● For the elderly (Theatre performance for libraries or care homes for the elderly co-produced by NTL: "Kroppens Minder")

3] COMMUNITY PROJECTS (Community interventions, workshops and performances):
